Here are skills that we will be working on all year:

• Counting accurately (one to one correspondence)
• Rote counting to 100 by 1's and 10's
• Write numbers to 20
• Count sets of objects and write the number to match
• Understanding greater than, less than, and one more than
• Use a variety of materials to represent addition and subtraction
• Solve word problem stories to ten
• Fluently add and subtract (facts) to 5
• Compose and decompose numbers 11 to 19 into a group of ten and some ones
• Describing shapes and finding them in our environment
• Describe attributes of objects, compare 2 objects with common attributes
• Sort in different ways (shape, size, color, etc.)
• Identify and compare two or three dimensional shapes
